the term “targeted gene therapy” or “gene editing”. Difference between targeted gene therapy and traditional gene therapy.

Introduction:

The genetic diseases are caused to due deleterious genes or due to a harmful mutation in the gene. These are usually inherited in offsprings by the transmission of these genes by their parents or sudden exposure to the mutagens. These diseases cannot be treated by drugs but techniques such as gene therapy and gene editing can be used to treat these genetic disorders.
