Application software:
Application software is a computer software which is designed to perform a specific task function according to user’s need. It is installed by the user to perform specific productive task and this software simplifies the productive task for users.
The database application is connected with two other systems as mentioned below:
- Application software.
- Database management system.
The application software is installed by the user to perform specific productive task. This means that it handles the communication with the user of the database but the application does not directly interact with the database according to user’s need. So, the actual manipulation of the database is done by the database management system.
