Design a relational database containing information about manufacturers of computing equipment’s and their products:

  • A relational database is comprised of tables that are rectangular in shape called relations. The table consists of rows called tuples and columns called field or attribute.
  • The objective of database design is to eradicate redundancy and to make sure that the data is accurate.

The steps to design relational database are:

  • Properly define the purpose of database.
  • Collect the data and assemble it in the form of table.
  • Refine and normalize the table by adding the new columns, splitting large relations into small relations and creating new relations for the optional data.
