Introduction: Gunpowder is a black or gray chemical smokeless powder. It is usually made of charcoal and nitrate. It is a propellant that creates pressure when ignited that forces a shot reaching the target from the firearm. The discharge of a shot from a gun distributes the gunpowder particles around the bullet hole which is helpful in calculating the distance between the firearm and the target.
