Introduction: Firearms are common weapons identified from a crime scene. The firearm is usually guns which are used for firing. Firearms are of two types: handgun and long gun. An example of a handgun is pistol and for long gun are shotgun and rifles. A shotgun is a type of long gun firearm that is designed to fire by resting the gun on the shoulders. It has small round pellets called as shots and a solid projectile called as slug. The shotgun has a smooth barrel without lands and grooves.
