Masonry A “slim jumbo modular” brick has dimensions of $3\frac{1}{8}$ in. by $2\frac{3}{4}$ in. by $7\frac{5}{8}$ in. With a $\frac{5}{16}$-in. mortar joint added to each side, determine the number of bricks required per cubic foot. (Hint: Add the mortar thickness just once to each dimension and round your answer up to the next whole number.)
