Introduction:

Trisomy is the addition of a single chromosome in the whole set of chromosome. Addition of single chromosome refers to the gain of one extra homologous copy of individual chromosome. Trisomy is representedas $\text{2n}+\text{1}$. Down syndrome is the trisomy of chromosome $21$.

The way through which primary Down syndrome and familial Down syndrome arise.

Introduction:

There are two types of Down syndrome, namely- primary downDown syndrome and familial Down syndrome. Primary Down syndrome is complete trisomy of chromosome $21$ whereas, the Familial Down syndrome is not complete trisomy of chromosome $21$.
