Pair of chromosome, the way they would appear during prophase I of meiosis in individual heterozygous for chromosomal duplication.

Introduction:

In chromosomal duplication, some of the part of chromosome has been doubled up. In duplication, the sequence of gene is not altered and genetic information is also complete. The only difference is in the presence of additional copies. In duplicated chromosomes, the relative number of copies of a gene is more which results in production of more amounts of proteins. The interaction of several proteins plays a key role in developmental processes.
