Chapter 8, Problem 4PA
The hot water for the heating system for a small factory is supplied by a single boiler. The bolier is locatd in a small building separate form the factory. The power supplied to the bioler is 240-volt single-phase without a netural conductor. At the present time, the small building housing the bioler has no inside lighting. The business owner desires that four 100-watt lamps be installed inside the building. All lamps are to be connected to a single switch. The lamps are to be connected to the present 240-volt sercvice inside the building. How would you accomplish this task? Explain your answer.

This is the 3rd time i'm asking this. SOLVE THIS AND FIND V0 , the last answer i was given is -2V which is not even one of the listed options. the listed options are: 12V,4V,24V,6V. first answer given to me was 4V but after i simulated on ltspice albeit i'm not sure if i simulated correct i got a different answer and when i solved it myself i got a different answer. this is my last remaining question. PLEASE SOLVE CORRECTLY AND PROPERLY. NODAL ANALYSIS IS BEST TO USE HERE. IT IS AN IDEAL OP-AMP. SIMULATE USING LTSPICE AND GIVE ME FINAL ANSWER IF POSSIBLE AS THAT IS ALL I CARE ABOUT NOT THE PROCESS. THANK YOU. WILL UPVOTE CORRECT ANSWER, but downvote wrong answer.
Find the exact value of V0. This question was already asked here and the answer was 4V i solved it myself and got a different answer and when i simulated it i also got a different answer. But i might be wrong. so please solve this for me and IF POSSIBLE simulate it so we can be 100% sure that the answer is correct as it's very important that i understand where i went wrong.

- A 1200-ampere service was installed, consisting of three sets of 600 kcmil THHN/THWN copper conductors per phase. The electrical contractor was careful to cut theconductors the same length. When the utility crew made up the connections at theservice heads, they cut the conductors to different lengths to make their connectionssimpler. The actual lengths of the service-entrance conductors in a given phase ended up being20 ft (6.1 m), 22 ft (6.7 m), and 24 ft (7.3 m). The maximum ampacity of a 600-kcmilTHHN/THWN copper conductor is 420 amperes using the 75°C column of Table310.16. This is more than adequate for the calculated 1200 amperes when three conductors are run in parallel. Determine how the load of 1200 amperes would divide in each of the three paralleledconductors in a phase.arrow_forwardDetermine the conductor sizes for a feeder to a panelboard.
