Introduction:

In competitive inhibition, an inhibitor is just like the substrate molecule, it competes with the substrate molecule to get bind to the active site of the enzyme. In allosteric inhibition, the inhibitor molecule binds on the site other than the active site and alter the shape of the enzyme.
