Summary Introduction

Introduction:

In any chemical or biochemical reaction, reactants undergo a transition to achieve a transition state which has the highest energy and this after rearrangement changes to the products. The energy which is required to achieve this transition state is known as activation energy which can be lowered by catalysts or enzymes. Transient state as the name suggests formed for a fraction of time and it is impossible to isolate it. In brief, it is the intermediate stage of any reaction that is occurring.
