Two component regulatory systems are present in most of the signal transduction pathways. A sensor kinase protein is present in the cytoplasmic membrane and in the cytoplasm, a response regulatory protein is present. The response regulator is a DNA binding protein that regulates the transcription in either positive or negative method.
