Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Genes that operate and transcribe a set of genes are called as operons. An operon is a DNA segment which contains the adjacent genes in which the structural gene, operator gene, and regulatory gene are included. It is the basic elemental unit of genetic expression and regulation. A gene system encoding the group of enzymes involved in a catabolic pathway that is inducible if the metabolite causes activation are called as inducible operons.
