Summary Introduction
Introduction:
Pelvic is composed of the pelvic girdle and the tailbone (coccyx). The pelvic girdle comprises left and right coxal bones and sacrum. The head of the femur is attached to the acetabulum part of the pelvic girdle that has a small indentation on the head called fovea capitis. This is the place where ligament secures the femur to the acetabulum.
