Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The femur bone of the lower limb is attached to the pelvic girdle. The femur is divided into three parts head, neck and shaft. The head of the femur is attached to the acetabulum part of the pelvic girdle that has a small indentation on the head called fovea capitis. This is the place where ligament secures the femur to the acetabulum. The head and neck of the femur are present in the oblique angle of the shaft proximal and lateral.
