Introduction:
The vertebral column is divided into five region cervical vertebrae, thoracic vertebrae, lumbar vertebrae, sacral bone, coccygeal. The developing embryo has 32-34 vertebrae but in adulthood five sacral vertebrae fused to form one bone and 4-5 coccygeal bone fuse to form one bone.
