The reason for the fact that the activity of enzyme decreases to zero as the temperature increases.
Introduction:
The catalytic properties of an enzyme are based on the binding of substrate to the active site on the enzyme that mediates the process of catalysis. The physiological variables, such as pH, temperature and oxygen concentration, greatly alter the activity of an enzyme. The temperature at which the maximum catalytic function of an enzyme can be observed is called the pH optima.
