Introduction:

A clear understanding of multiplication cycles of animal viruses inside their hosts is a key element of control and treatment of viral infections. Viruses follow a step-wise process to invade and seize control of their host cells. Invasion begins when a virus comes in contact with its target host cell and adsorbs on the glycoprotein receptors on the host membrane. This is followed by penetration of viral nucleic acids inside the host cell.
