Introduction: The signal molecule includes a Ca2+ ion, a family of lipid-derived messengers, and three genes. The most important ionic messengers are calcium ions. There are different kinds of Ca2+ channels through which Ca2+ enters inside the cell. These channels may be ligand-gated, voltage-gated, and mechanically gated.
