Concept used: Count total black squares and total white squares and write their ratio in simplest fraction form.

Calculation: In given figure, there are total 10 black squares and 15 white squares,

So ratio of black squares to white squares $=\frac{10}{15}=\frac{2}{3}$

Also as there are total 25 squares, so ratio of black squares to total squares $=\frac{10}{25}=\frac{2}{5}$

And ratio of white squares to total squares $=\frac{15}{25}=\frac{3}{5}$

Conclusion: It is cleared that ratio 2 blacks: 5 whites does not describe the relationship between the squares shown as correct relation is 2 blacks: 3 whites.
