Explanation of Solution

Five common characteristics of high-quality information:

The order of importance followed for the Big Data is:

  • Timeliness: Information should be fetched and delivered timely as it is necessary for all the users to receive the correct news at correct time because outdated information may seem like yesterday’s TV listings.
  • Accuracy: Information should be accurate. For example, if we need to know India and the website about England opens, it will not be beneficial.
  • Consistency: Consistency is important as users may stop trusting and relying on the system if different results or prices exist for same products at different times.
  • Completeness: Information received by the user should be complete and should get all the information that he/she is looking for.
  • Uniqueness: Users expect to get unique information to their queries as information may differ from one query to other.
