Integrating Information:

The firm has constantly been facing a delay in extracting, collecting and receiving the required information. The information at times also includes some crucial information like the quarterly balance sheets. The major issues in obtaining the information are mentioned below:

• Several departments need to be contacted in order to attain the required information.
• Then they proceed to extract the information from their database (like Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, etc) and at times that databases differ.
• Departments often assign different codes to data which involves synchronization steps.
• There is the added burden of aggregating the data.
