Order Status
The Middletown Wholesale Copper Wire Company sells spools of copper wiring for $100 each. Write a
• The number of spools ordered
• The number of spools in stock
• Whether there are special shipping and handling charges
(Shipping and handling is normally $10 per spool.) If there are special charges, the program should ask for the special charges per spool.
The gathered data should be passed as arguments to another function that displays:
• The number of spools ready to ship from current stock
• The number of spools on backorder (if the number ordered is greater than what is in stock)
• Subtotal of the portion ready to ship (the number of spools ready to ship times $100)
• Total shipping and handling charges on the portion ready to ship
• Total of the order ready to ship
The shipping and handling parameter in the second function should have the default argument 10.00.
Input Validation: Do not accept numbers less than 1 for spools ordered. Do not accept a number less than 0 for spools in stock or shipping arid handling charges.

- (Misc. application) a. The data in the following chart was collected on a recent automobile trip: Write a C++ program that accepts a mileage and gallons value and calculates the miles pergallon (mpg) for that segment of the trip. The mpg is obtained as the difference in mileage between fill-ups divided by the number of gallons of gasoline used in the fill-up. b. Modify the program written for Exercise 9a to also compute and display the cumulative mpg after each fill-up. The cumulative mpg is calculated as the difference between the mileage at each fill-up and the mileage at the start of the trip divided by the sum of gallons used to that point in the trip.arrow_forwardStudent Number, Grade 101029383,90 192736611,10 109800384,0 292833315,80 Complete the function below. Lulu Hypermarket wants you to create a program that they can use to compute for the discounts to be given to Lulu card holders. The program should read the user to enter the name of the customer and the number of purchases. The number of purchases will serve as the counter for the number of times purchase amount will be entered by the user. The program should be able to count the number of purchase amounts in each of the following ranges: • 1 to 30 • Above 30 The program should also compute the sum of all the purchase amounts. A discount is computed based on the sum of the purchase amount. If the sum of the purchase is more than 500, the discount is 2.5% of the sum; otherwise, the discount is 5% of the sum. Write a program with a car's miles/gallon and gas dollars/gallon (both floats) as input, and output the gas cost for 10 miles, 50 miles, and 400 miles. Output each floating-point value with two digits after the decimal point, which can be achieved as follows: print(f'{your_value:.2f}') Ex: If the input to your program is: 20.0 3.1599 the output is: The gas cost for 10 miles is $1.58 The gas cost for 50 miles is $7.90 The gas cost for 400 miles is $63.20 Your program must define and call the driving_cost() function. Given input parameters driven_miles, miles_per_gallon, and dollars_per_gallon, the function returns the dollar cost to drive those miles. Ex: If the function is called with: 50 20.0 3.1599 the function returns: 7.89975 def driving_cost(driven_miles, miles_per_gallon, dollars_per_gallon) Your program should…arrow_forward
