Calculations: Change given inequality in slope-intercept form y=mx+b first, where m is the slope and b is the y -intercept.

  2x+2y<18

Subtracting 2x on both sides

  2x+2y−2x<18−2x

Simplify

  2y<18−2x

Dividing both sides by 2.

  2y2<182−2x2

  y<−x+9

The slope of the line y<−x+9 is −1 and the y −intercept is 9.

Plot y-intercept (0,9) first.

Plot one more point using RiseRun=−11.

Another coordinate will be (0+1,9−1)=(1,8).
