Introduction:

Interspecific competition includes different species competing for the common limited resources that are available and when the competition is within the same species, it is called intraspecific competition. It is hypothesized that the interspecific competition between a species can reduce the species richness. Forces such as predation or parasitism can also affect the species composition and the community structure.
