Introduction:

There are many plants and animals that have unique mechanisms to avoid being eaten by other organisms. In the case of plants, thorns or toxic substances are secreted, and in the case of animals, changing their color to fit in with the surroundings or the secretion of a toxic substances is typically observed. According to an organism’s features, several types of defense mechanisms are employed such as cryptic coloration, aposematic coloration, and mimicry.
