Summary Introduction

To predict: The part of the cell having the receptor for the steroid hormone 20-hydroxyecdysone.

Introduction: During the process of larval growth and metamorphosis in insects, neurosecretory cells present in the brain secrete a hormone called prothoracicotropic hormone. This hormone stimulates prothoracic glands which in turn secrete a steroid hormone called 20-hydroxyecdysone in the hemolymph.
