Chloroplasts are referred as “the site of photosynthesis”. These are the organelles where photosynthesis takes place in a plant cell. It consists of grana and stroma. Grana are the region where the light reaction takes place, whereas stroma is the region where the dark reaction of photosynthesis takes place.
