To determine:

The reason that enzymes are necessary for anabolic reactions to occur in living organisms.

Introduction:

The metabolic pathway includes both the reactions “catabolic as well as anabolic”. In some reactions, larger complex substances break into smaller substances, which are referred to as catabolism, and in some reactions smaller substances combine to form a larger complexes molecule, which is known as anabolism.

The anabolic pathway is the pathway in which two smaller size molecules combine to form one larger and complex molecule. These anabolic reactions are present in living organisms.
