To determine: The differences between an electrical gradient, a chemical gradient, and an electrochemical gradient.

Introduction: A membrane is a barrier that either allows or refuses the molecules, ions and other small particles to pass through it. The membrane could be permeable, semi-permeable, or impermeable. The change in the concentration of ions or charges across the membrane creates a gradient. It causes a movement of these ions or charges across the membrane.
