Introduction:
It has been revealed that there are only a few females in leadership positions at toy companies. Further, the said companies have not been able to reap expected results from toys meant for girls. Even the much embraced dolls that have been under the spot light for over five decades have faced adverse reactions from the general public. The gender imbalance at the top levels could be seen as the reason for such failures. It is important to highlight reasons as to why such a gender imbalance prevails at the top most level of toy companies.
