isPrime Method
A prime number is a number that is evenly divisible only by itself and 1. For example, the number 5 is prime because it can be evenly divided only by 1 and 5. The number 6, however, is not prime because it can be divided evenly by 1, 2, 3, and 6.
Write a method named isPrime, which takes an integer as an argument and returns true if the argument is a prime number, or false se otherwise. Demonstrate the method in a complete
TIP: Recall that the % operator divides one number by another, and returns the remainder of the division. In an expression such as num1 % num2, the % operator will return 0 if num1 is evenly divisible by num2.

- Use Java programming language Write a program that asks the user to enter 5 test grades (use an array to store them). Output the grades entered, the lowest and highest grade, the average grade, how many grades are above the average and how many are below and the letter grade for the average grade. Create a method that returns the lowest grade. Create a method that returns the highest grade. Create a method that returns the average grade. Create a method that returns how many grades were above the average. Create a method that returns how many grades were below the average. Create a method that returns the letter grade of the average (90-100 – A, 80-89 – B, 70-79 – C, < 70 – F)arrow_forwardJAVA Write a class that calculates add, subtraction, and multiplication. The class should include the following methods: Constructor : initialize all values to 0 getAsk() : Ask users to input two integer numbers. This method calls Distribute() method. Distribute() : Ask users to choose which calculation he/she wants. This method calls a method that can add, subtract, or multiply based on the user's option. CalAdd() : add two numbers CalSub() : subtract two numbers CalProduct() : multiply two numbers toString() : toString method that display result of operation. The program should be designed to test the class developed. Your program might look like the following: public class CalculateNumTesting{ public static void main(String[] args){ CalculateNum calculation = new CalculateNum(); calculation.getAsk(); System.out.println(calculation); } }arrow_forwardChapter 5. - JAVA Problem description:You are to write a program called Seasons that prompts the user for a month and day and displays the season in which that date occurs. For reference, we will use the following date cutoffs for the various seasons: Winter December 21 – March 19 Spring March 20th – June 20th Summer June 21st – September 20th Fall September 21st – December 20th Data Validation For this program, you'll write a specific method to perform data validation based on the month and day entered. More specifically: Month – the month entered must be a valid month of the year (January – December). Day – the day entered must be a valid day for that month: January, March, May, July, August, October, December have 1-31 days. April, June, September, November have 1-30 days. February has 1-28 days (do not worry about leap years) Required program decomposition String getMonth(Scanner console) This method is called from the main method and should prompt for the month as a string…arrow_forwardT/F(If false, correct the statement to make it true) - A void method will return an int valuearrow_forwardPrime Number List Use the isPrime method that you wrote in Programming Challenge 13 in a program that prompts the user to enter an integer number, then displays all prime numbers less than the user number separated by a space. Because ticket agents frequently mistype long ticket numbers, Travel Tickets has asked you to write an application that indicates invalid ticket number entries. The class prompts a ticket agent to enter a six-digit ticket number. Ticket numbers are designed so that if you drop the last digit of the number, then divide the number by 7, the remainder of the division will be identical to the last dropped digit. Accept the ticket number from the agent and verify whether it is a valid number. Test the application with the following ticket numbers: . 123454; the comparison should evaluate to true . 147103; the comparison should evaluate to true . 154123; the comparison should evaluate to false Save the program as TicketNumber.java.arrow_forwardTrue or False: During method calls, the value of a local variable is preserved.arrow_forward
