Introduction:

Equinox is the time twice each year, at which sun crosses the celestial equator when day and night both are of equal length. Equinox is also called the equinoctial point. As the earth moves around its orbit, it reaches two points in a single year, where the tilt of its axis causes straight relative to the sun. The Sun shines directly on the equator.
