Question
Chapter 45, Problem 1CBQ
Summary Introduction
To write:
If Earth was not tilted 23.5º on its axis, climate and life would have been affected the most.
Introduction:
The Earth’s axis of rotation is tilted at 23.5º from the vertical for the full 365 days it takes to orbit around the Sun. Seasonality is caused by the tilt of the Earth. The wind direction is deflected by the rotation of Earth. As a result of the change in latitudes, there is much global variation in the precipitation patterns.
