To review:

The eggs’ characteristics in different species that indicate whether they undergo complete or incomplete cleavage.

Introduction:

Fertilization is the stage wherein the sperm fuses with the egg and give rise to an embryo. After fertilization, the zygote undergoes the cycle of rapid cell divisions. Early cell divisions lead to the production of a ball of the undifferentiated cells in which the distribution of zygote’s cytoplasm is not uniform. Different species undergo the different patterns of cleavage.
