Rh factors are antigens that are found on the surface of the red blood cells that also contribute to determining the blood type.Rh incompatibility is a phenomenon that occurs when a mother's Rh factor is different from that of the Rh factor of the fetus that leads to a condition named Erythroblastosis fetalis. This is characterized by the breakdown of red blood cells of the fetus a serious disorder.
