ABO blood group system is the only system that is sued to determine the blood type of the person. The blood group of a person is determined by analyzing the presence of antigens (A or B) on red blood cells. Based on ABO blood system, humans can have four blood types, A blood type, B blood type, O blood type, and AB blood type.
