Summary Introduction

Introduction:

Cilia are found in eukaryotic cells while flagella are present in the prokaryotic cells. Cilia and flagella are hair-like structures covered by a plasma membrane. Cilia and flagella are supported and moved by the microtubules of the cytoskeleton proteins. Cilia are shorter and more in number than flagella. They are rich in motor protein (microtubules fibers) that helps in the locomotion of the cells.
