Progenitor cells are distinguished from stem cells as they are early descendants of stem cells, which can differentiate to form one or more kinds of cells, and have limited ability to replicate in vivo or in vitro and their restricted differentiation capacity. Heart diseases are leading cause of death worldwide. Numerous research studies are focusing on heart tissue engineering by creating heart tissues.
