The total force exerted on the snow balls in the increasing order is d>a=e>b>c.

Explanation of Solution

The snowballs are having denser medium than the surrounding air. Hence, it can be assumed that the snowballs are in free fall. For the free fall, there will be only gravitational force acting on the object. Here, the velocity of the object is not required, only the mass of the object is needed.

Thus, to determine the gravitational force, the snowball which is having more mass, gravitational force will be more. Hence the required rank of the snowball based on the total force exerted on each other is d>a=e>b>c.
