There are many compound microscopes which have a filter that eliminates all the wavelengths except that of the blue light and thus, it allows only blue light to pass through the microscope. The filter improves the resolution of the light microscope.

Introduction:

The electromagnetic spectrum shows the frequency range of the electromagnetic radiations. The visible spectrum is the section of the electromagnetic spectrum, which is visible to the human eye. The light of a wavelength ranging from 380-740 nm is visible to a typical human eye.
