To predict: The function of root pressure in plants.
Introduction: Root pressure is the process in which the osmotic pressure causes the cells of the root system to allow the rise in the sap to the parts of the plant like stem and leaves. The root pressure takes place in the xylem of the vascular plants at the time when the moisture level is high (that is during the night).
