Summary Introduction

To describe: Phototropism, gravitropism, and thigmotropism.

Introduction: The phenomenon by which plants response to their environmental stimuli like light, gravity, or water is known as tropism. Although plants are unable to move from their respective location to other places, they are adapted with certain characters that allow them to do necessary movements depending upon the situation. Tropism is such an adaptation meant for the better survival of the plant groups. There are different types of tropism which are named according to the stimulus associated with it.
