Summary Introduction
Highly contagious airborne infection of viral origin is referred to as influenza. Influenza is also called as the flu. In the United States, influenza causes significant morbidity and mortality. Influenza disease attributes approximately 200,000 hospitalizations and 36,000 deaths each year. Influenza disease is a greater risk of developing various complications among aged, children, and pregnant women.
A highly contagious and deadly pathogen that transmits from one person to another by direct contact is called Ebola virus. Ebola viruses are mainly located in sub-Saharan Africa. Ebola hemorrhagic fever is a clinical manifestation caused by the Ebola virus.
