Introduction:

Majorly, there are a total of 20 amino acids, which can be segregated into essential and non-essential amino acids. A string of amino acids joined by peptide bonds is called a polypeptide. To form a functional protein, these polypeptide chains undergo folding. There are 4 levels of protein organization, namely primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary.
