(Target-Heart-Rate Calculator) While exercising, you can use a heart-rate monitor to see that your heart rate stays within a safe range suggested by your trainers and doctors. According to the American Heart Association (AHA), the formula for calculating your maximum heart rate in beats per minute is 220 minus your age in years. Your target heart rate is a range that’s 50—85% of your maximum heart rate. [Note: These formulas are estimates provided by the AHA. Maximum and target heart rates may vary based on the health, fitness and gender of the individual. Always consult a physician or qualified health-care professional before beginning or modifying an exercise

- [PYTHON LANGUAGE] You are planning an outing with some friends and need to calculate the total price of the tickets. A regular ticket usually costs $3.99 and a stu- dent ticket costs only $2.99. If the total number of tickets being ordered (including both students and regular tickets) is at least 10, then a 10% discount is applied to the order. However, if it is a holiday, then the at-least-ten group discount is only 5% (not 10%). Write a program that takes three lines of input: the number of reg- ular tickets, the number of student tickets, and an integer indicating whether it is a holiday (1) or not (0). It prints a float giving the total cost. Be sure to define and use constants for REGULAR TICKET PRICE and STUDENT TICKET PRICE. Write your program in a file named tickets.py.arrow_forward(Hard drive storage capacity) If you buy a 40 GB hard drive, then chances are that the actual storage on the hard drive is not 40 GB. This is due to the fact that, typically, a manufacturer uses 1,000 bytes as the value of 1K bytes, 1,000 K bytes as the value of 1 MB, 1,000 MB as the value of 1 GB. Therefore, a 40 GB hard drive contains 40,000,000,000 bytes. However, in computer memory,1 KB is equal to 1,024 bytes, and so on. So the actual storage on a 40 GB hard drive is approximately 37.25 GB. (You might like to read the fine print next time you buy a hard drive.) Write a program that prompts the user to enter the size of the hard drive specified by the manufacturer, on the hard drive box, and outputs the actual storage capacity of the hard drive.arrow_forward(IN C LANGUAGE) Cumulative Addition: Computer selects a number between 7 and 23 at random. User will only add 2, 3 or 5 numbers to reach that number. For example: To reach 14: User will enter 5 5 2 2 (4 input). Also he can enter 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 (7 input) or 3 3 3 3 2 (5 input). https://www.bartleby.com/questions-and-answers/in-c-language-cumulative-addition-computer-selects-a-number-between-7-and-23-at-random.-user-will-on/0509c740-d993-44ed-a468-7e02da552600arrow_forward
- Use pythonarrow_forward(Financial application: find the profit-per-item) You have just started a new stationary shop. Your profit-per-item depends on the total quantity of item sold. The scheme shown below is used to determine the total profit: Quantity Profit-per-item 0-1000 $1 1001-5000 $2 5001 and above $5 Note that this is a graduated profit. The profit for selling up to 1000 items is $1, for next 4000 items is $2 and beyond that is $5. If the total quantity of item sold is 10000, the profit is 1000 * $1 + 4000 * $2 + 5000 * $5 = $34000. Your goal is to make $50,000 a year. Write a program that uses a do-while loop to find out the minimum quantity of item you have to sell in order to make $50,000.arrow_forwardInterest Rates Savings accounts state an interest rate and a compounding period. If theamount deposited is P, the stated interest rate is r, and interest is compounded m timesper year, then the balance in the account after one year is P⋅(1+rm)m. For instance, if$1000 is deposited at 3% interest compounded quarterly (that is, 4 times per year), thenthe balance after one year is1000⋅(1+.034)4=1000⋅1.00754=$1,030.34.Interest rates with different compounding periods cannot be compared directly. The concept of APY (annual percentage yield) must be used to make the comparison. TheAPY for a stated interest rate r compounded m times per year is defined byAPY=(1+rm)m−1.(The APY is the simple interest rate that yields the same amount of interest after oneyear as the compounded annual rate of interest.) Write a program to compare interestrates offered by two different banks and determine the most favorable interest rate. SeeFig. 4.24.arrow_forward
- (Civil eng.) Write an assignment statement to determine the maximum bending moment, M, of a beam, given this formula: M=XW(LX)L X is the distance from the end of the beam that a weight, W, is placed. L is the length of the beam.arrow_forward(Physics) Coulomb’s Law states that the force, F, acting between two electrically charged spheres is given by this formula: F=kq1q2r2 q1isthechargeonthefirstsphere.q2isthechargeonthesecondsphere.risthedistancebetweenthecentersofthetwospheres.kisaproportionalityconstant. Write an assignment statement to calculate the force, F.arrow_forward(Factorials) Factorials are used frequently in probability problems. The factorial of a positive integer n (written n! and pronounced “n factorial”) is equal to the product of the positive integers from 1 to n. Write an application that calculates the factorials of 1 through 20. Use type long . Display the results in tabular format. What difficulty might prevent you from calculating the factorial of 100?arrow_forward
- Please use Visual Studios coding in Python. (Use Python 3 Version)arrow_forward(Algebra: solve 2 x 2 linear equations) You can use Cramer's rule to solve the following 2 X 2 system of linear equation: ed – bf ax + by = e cx + dy = f af - eс y ad – bc %3D ad – bc Write a program that prompts the user to enter a, b, c, d, e, and f, and displays the result. If ad – bc is 0, report that "The equation has no solution."arrow_forwardSummary During winter when it is very cold, typically, everyone would like to know the windchill factor, especially, before going out. Meteorologists use the following formula to compute the windchill factor, W: W = 35.74 + 0.6215 × T - 35.75 × V0.16 + 0.4275 × T × V0.16 where V is the wind speed in miles per hour and T is the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. Instructions Write a program that prompts the user to input the wind speed in miles per hour, and the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit. The program then outputs the current temperature and the windchill factor. Your program must contain at least two functions: one to get the user input and the other to determine the windchill factor.arrow_forward
