Introduction:
Bacterium or bacteria are prokaryotic cells lacking a membrane-bound nucleus and cell organelles. These are the microscopic organisms having a circular DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid). The flagellum is the mobile unit of a bacterium. The stalk is the extension of bacterial cells that helps in anchoring the bacteria to a substratum.
