The order of the colors depends upon the wavelength.
The order of colors in the color spectrum is to be arranged on the basis of its frequency or higher wavelength to the lower wavelength. These colors are arranged from a lower frequency to a higher frequency. Frequency is the number of peaks which are passes through a fixed point in one second. So, the order of colors in the color spectrum is red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet.
