The excretory system is one of the most important life processes that help in the excretion of harmful waste outside the body. This system maintains the osmoregulation, regulates the ion and acid-base balance in the body.

The different organs and functions of the urinary tract are as follows:
• Ureters:
Ureters are extended from the kidney to the bladder. The main function of the ureter is the transportation of urine from the kidney to the urinary bladder.
• Urinary bladder:
The urinary bladder lies posterior to the pubic symphysis. This structure helps in the storage of urine until micturition.
• Urethra:
The urethra is present inferior to the neck of the urinary bladder. Ureter helps in the expel of urine from the urethra to the outside of the body.
