The differences between spermatogenesis and spermiogenesis.

Introduction:

The male reproductive system includes testis as a primary sex organ. Inside the testis, several seminiferous tubules are present, which are the main site for production of sperm. The processes of spermatogenesis and spermiogenesis, together, take about 60 to 70 days for completion and results in the production of immotile sperms. These sperms then enter the reproductive ducts for storage, maturation, and are finally ejaculated from the penis.
